Love Knows No Borders - Petra & Lew's Wedding Preview

After meeting online, a Canadian Petra and an Alaskan Lew found their match across an international border. Eventually, Petra made the move to Alaska and began the over-whelming process of marrying a US citizen. In a true testament to their love for one another, Petra & Lew have persevered through all the obstacles that can arise when dealing with the legal system. On their wedding day, we started with some nice cloud cover and some not so nice rain fall. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the most stunning full rainbow appeared during their ceremony, creating a natural "arch" over the beaming bride and groom. Accompanying Petra and Lew was the bride's daughter and, after a last minute flight, son. It was a wonderful reunion and, better than anyone could have planned, the clouds lifted after the ceremony and blessed the family with rays of sunshine to showcase the gorgeous hues in the ocean at Baldwin Beach. After what turned out to be a gorgeous morning, Petra & Lew capped off their photography time with a dip in the ocean, fully clothed, in their wedding attire! So much fun to see!!! That's a great way to cool off! Thank you, Petra and Lew, for being the first couple brave enough to head straight out in to the ocean after their wedding! It was a pleasure to meet you all and look forward to seeing you back on an anniversary trip in the future!
