Michael was standing on Merriman's lawn, dressed to the nines in his red bow-tie, waiting for his bride. When Erin pulled up to the restaurant in her long white limo, the Hawaiian sun was sinking towards the horizon. The light was glimmering on the waves and the entire west Maui coastline was golden. Reverend Joe Miles blew his conch shell as Erin walked towards Michael, escorted by her dear friend. They held hands throughout their ceremony and Michael dabbed away a few tears that fell on Erin's cheeks. The bride & groom and their guest had all met while working together at Continental Airlines. When the time came to sign their marriage license, a few inside jokes flew back and forth and they whipped out a 'Continental Airlines' pen, saved specially for this moment. After their ceremony, Erin ran off for a quick outfit change. She had brought two dresses with her — one for the ceremony and one for the bridal portraits. After their sunset portraits, the newlyweds cut their gorgeous red velvet cake and toasted to one another with champagne. Then we snuck in some photos of them walking down the sand beside the beautiful lava rocks in Kapalua Bay and sent them off to their celebratory dinner. Thank you so much Erin & Michael for choosing Simple Maui Wedding! Congratulations again on your marriage. We wish you all the best.
